Background Model Table UploadUse the [Browse...] button to select a table file on your computer for upload. The table file should be an ASCII file. The filename should not have spaces in it. The service can accept a number of table formats and coordinate input types. But a simple format shown below has "ra" and "dec" coordinates in IPAC Table Format. You can read about other possible formats here: Table Upload Help. The allowed formats for Background Model are the same as those for the Dust Extinction tool. Simple table example This IPAC table example has equatorial coordinates in decimal degrees (J2000) labeled with lower-case "ra" and "dec". The observer's location "obsloc" is 0 for Earth-Sun L2 and 3 for Earth (defaults to 0). "ido_view" of 1 overrides the day and computes the median value for a typical spacecraft viewing zone (defaults to 1). If not present, here are the defaults for the other parameters: wavelength (2.0 microns), year (2019), day (180). NOTE: The current version of the code is Version 4 (default). You can get version 1 by appending a column "obsver" with character value "1".
