Overview

The Herschel infrared Galactic Plane Survey (Hi-GAL) covers the Galactic plane at five wavelengths from 70 to 500 microns. Hi-GAL DR1 is limited to the inner Milky Way in the longitude range +68d > l > -70d and latitude range 1d > b > -1d, while Hi-GAL compact sources detected between 70 and 500 microns are presented in this catalog, covering the full 360 degrees of Galactic longitude.

If you use Hi-GAL, please cite Molinari et al. (2016) for photometric compact source catalogs and Elia et al. (2021) for the 360° catalog, as well as the dataset Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for: 70 um (10.27131/IRSA27), 160 um (10.25131/IRSA25), 250 um (10.24131/IRSA24), 350 um (10.26131/IRSA28), 500 um (10.26131/IRSA26), or 360° catalog (10.26131/IRSA571).
