CS14 Excursion - Miracle Mile and Hollywood Boulevard
Experience culture and history by traveling to the “Miracle Mile”, a mile long stretch on Wilshire Boulevard between Fairfax and La Brea Avenues in Los Angeles, a perfect venue to provide an afternoon of fun. It received its name in the 1920’s. During this time it was settled and inhabited by Jewish Immigrants who founded the banking industry on the Mile and worked financing miracles.
Points of Interest along the Mile include:
World famous La Brea Tar Pits
Petersen Automotive Museum
The Miniatures Museum
El Rey Theater
Hancock Park
[Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is closed Wednesdays]
Miracle Mile is also home to many well known companies including Spelling Productions, Variety Magazine, E! Entertainment Television and The Screen Actors Guild. Keep your eyes open. You just might see a star.

Logistics
Your excursion fee includes bus transportation to these sites, and the will be shuttling between Miracle Mile and Hollywood Boulevard during the afternoon.
